My name is Delandis
Dillard and I am proud member of the Alpha
Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. My fraternity was
founded in the year of 1914 by three distingushed gentlemen,
A. Langston Taylor, Leanard F. Morse, and Charles I. Brown. They
built the the fraternity based on the principles of brotherhood,
scholarship and service. These three insightful brothers also recognized
that fraternites and sororities should not decide to exclude people from
membership for any reason, like physical appearance, popularity etc. In
other words the men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity
are firm believers in the thought that members should be chosen on the
basis of the "inclusive we, not the exclusive we."
The fraternity motto is "Culture for Service and
Service for Humanity." This is the embodiment of everything
we believe in as far as better ourselves and helping others.
